  • 76 is a three-storey residence within the designated Unesco World Heritage city of San Miguel de Allende in Mexico.

We were part of the architectural team that provided conceptual and schematic design services for this project.

The residence is designed as a retirement home for its expat-Owner. The project’s living, dining, kitchen and guest suite spaces are arranged around a central main courtyard -- a fea-ture resonating with the central plaza as a nod to the location’s Spanish colonial roots and over- all identity of the city it is located in.

The main suite with generous bath and private pool area is on the top level, and sits above the kitchen and dining area and is securely accessed through a stair with wooden celosia gates. All other guest suites surround the central courtyard as the primary gathering space and meditative view from each of the private quarters.
